 Frequently asked questions

 Q: How do I attach self-designed labels?

A: For all labels other than our car labels, we recommend the following four-step “wet fix method”:

Clean the surface to which the sticker is affixed.

Mix warm water and dishwashing detergent.  Apply this solution to the mounting surface.

Remove the label backing paper and place the label on a wet surface.

Spread the sticker evenly from the center out.  Use a squeegee or a suitable, straight-surfaced object.  Try to remove bubbles and excess liquid.

Q: Is a window sticker or car window sticker installed on the outside or inside of the glass?

A: You can choose whether to affix your sticker to the inside or outside of the glass.  Interior glass stickers are also called window stickers affixed to one side of the glass.  They are printed on the mounting surface side.  Exterior glass (same side) window decals are affixed to the back of the car or glass.

Q: What kind of glue is used on car stickers?

A: Our car window stickers and car window stickers use transparent polyacrylate.  It is a peelable, pressure-activated adhesive that stays on without damaging the car’s paintwork.

Q: What is the difference between car door stickers and car window stickers?  Which is best for my own use?

A: The choice between a car door sticker and a car window sticker is really up to your own preferences.  The following things are worth considering:

 • If your car has just been painted, we recommend that you wait about 30 days before installing the car door sticker.  Note that even in this case, you can affix a car window sticker to your car.

 • If the color of your car is the same as your company logo, think twice about designing a car door sticker on a transparent base.  The logo stands out better when you use a car window sticker or choose a car door sticker on a white background.

 • The car window sticker must never be affixed to the windscreen, front windows or other windows that obstruct visibility while driving.

Q: Do self-designed labels stick to wood, concrete, or PVC?

A: These stickers are not designed or intended for surfaces other than glass or car doors.  If you want to affix a sticker to another surface, check out our car stickers.

Q: Is it possible to reuse self-designed car door stickers or window stickers?

A: Repositioning the label is easy, but we do not recommend removing and affixing the label multiple times.  Dust and debris can stick to the mounting surface, which can appear as an uneven surface.
